DESCRIPTION:"Ask an Expert" Days at Grow City Teaching Garden to begin on May 18 The Grow City Teaching Garden program is offering "Ask an Expert" days at the garden on the first and third Wednesdays of each month\, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Eastern. The first session will be on Wednesday\, May 18. Come to talk with garden experts\, ask questions\, or even bring in samples from your garden to show experts. Attendees may also help with tasks in the Grow City Teaching Garden\, located behind the McGrady-Brockman building at 7th and Hart Streets\, Vincennes. No registration is required. Attendees may come any time during the "Ask an Expert" hours. For more information\, see the Grow City Teaching Garden Facebook page or call the Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District at 812-882-8210\, Ext. 3. The Grow City Teaching Garden is a partnership between the Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District\, the Knox County Public Library\, Purdue Extension Knox County\, and Vincennes University. It was established in 2019 to teach area residents about growing their own food\, with emphasis on soil health\, to create healthy individuals and a healthy community.
