Business Resource Roundup

Join us for a Business Resource Roundup co-led by The Knox County Chamber of Commerce and The Pantheon to learn about the no and low-cost resources available for businesses from organizations like the Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the Indiana Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Elevate Ventures, Purdue Foundry, IU Law, City of Vincennes, and other partners. Lunch will be provided as you listen to 10-minute presentations from each organization. Presenting partners will then be available for networking, further in-depth discussions on entrepreneur support, and making preparations for next steps.

• City of Vincennes

  • The City of Vincennes, “the first city in Indiana”, is rich in history, while growing into a modern community that promotes diversity through education, business, and community events.  

• Elevate Ventures

  • Building sustainable entrepreneurship cultures in Indiana with their hybrid approach as part venture capital firm and part entrepreneurial development partner. Startups are supported with resources, guides, programs & investment capital, pitch competitions, education, and more. 458 Indiana startups have received funding from Elevate!   

• Indiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)

  • Part of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, PTAC provides entrepreneurs counseling and education to help you sell your products or services to the appropriate government agency.  

• Knox County Chamber of Commerce

  • Representing over 350 businesses, the Knox County Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and value to its members by fostering an environment where businesses, organizations, and communities can be successful.  They provide resources to help guide businesses through networking opportunities, educational programming, and promotions.  In 2021, they were awarded ICEA Indiana Chamber of the Year!

  • Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Jason Salstrom supports innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs who seek experienced founders to launch their business.   

• Southwest Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

  • Offering Hoosiers business advising, training, referrals, and a library of cultivated tools and resources to help businesses from startup phase to growth, innovation, and transition. 10 regional offices throughout the state!   

• The Pantheon 

  • Co-Working Space and Business Incubator in the heart of Vincennes, IN. The theatre has been renovated and restored to provide programming, networking, and educational resources for entrepreneurs and businesses to support economic growth in the community.
