Seed Saving Workshop
"Seed Saving" is a free workshop offered by the Knox County Seed Library. This workshop will present the purpose and benefits to seed saving, as well as the how-to's, such as how to select seeds from the garden to save, how to clean and dry seeds, and how to safely store them to ensure viability. The Knox County Seed Library encourages gardeners to save open-pollinated seeds to pass along to others in the community. The workshop will be in the Fortnightly Building (421 N. 6th St., Vincennes) and may also include hands-on learning in the Grow City Teaching Garden (behind the McGrady-Brockman Building, 614 N. 7th St., Vincennes). Attendees must register by sending a message to kcplseedlibrary@gmail.com or through the Facebook page Knox County Seed Library (Indiana).
