Winter Storage and Fermentation

Another healthy way to preserve the garden bounty is through fermentation, an ancient and simple process that can be used with almost any garden crop. The free workshop "Winter Storage and Fermentation" will include demonstrations of basic sauerkraut making (and variations) as well as "classics and creations", such as making kimchi. This is the final workshop in a series offered by the Knox County Seed Library. Those who have attended all ten workshops will be eligible to become Members of the Knox County Seed Library and may donate seeds for the next year. Attendees must register for this workshop by sending a message to kcplseedlibrary@gmail.com or through the Facebook page Knox County Seed Library (Indiana). The workshop will be in the Fortnightly Building, 421 N. 6th St., Vincennes.
